I’ve decided to rank and review the stories published by Fiction on the Web soon. I’ll start with January 2025. As you might already know, FOTW publishes two stories per week, which means we get eight to ten stories to read monthly.
All stories on FOTW are excellent, as they’ve been reviewed by a team of professionals. That said, I find some of them more intriguing and noteworthy. That’s why I’d like to rank the three best stories here on my blog.
But how am I going to rank the stories, knowing that all of them are well-written? Okay, this is not going to be an easy task for me to do. I’m going to read all the stories published in January in one sitting and then ask myself a simple question: Which stories didn’t I find that absorbing? I’ll eliminate those first. Then, I’ll read the ones I liked once more and choose the three top stories that I enjoyed reading the most. Finally, I’ll read the three selected stories for the third time to make my final decision. Overall, it’ll take me three days to complete the process.
Since I’ve created Noteworthy.IR to improve my English reading and writing skills, I believe this fun reading task can help me sharpen my knowledge and abilities. I just hope I’ll make fair judgments and evaluations in the end. The ultimate goal is to have a good time, though. 🤓
